Our Story

Getting clothing for Ayia, especially at an affordable price, to fit properly seemed impossible! Collars were either too stiff or too wide for her tiny neck and harnesses are still an ongoing battle! Standard designs fit too tight around her chest and rubbed her underarms raw! Oh my, don’t get me started on coats and jumpers! Ayia is a small in width but a medium in length, so we have the choice of giving her a cold bottom or a damp belly (the underneath would drag on the floor through the dirt and water).

Our journey started in 2018 when I had a go at making a collar for Ayia, she was just 18-months old and teeny tiny! Since the concept of Ayia & Co was created, our family has bought a house, introduced two beautiful babies to the world and navigated a worldwide pandemic. We have been slow to start, as our lives have been in a whirlwind, but we are back with new products and a determination to make this path successful.

My hope for Ayia & Co is to create comfortable clothing and accessories for our pups that fits all breeds – the cute patterns are an added bonus!

Our current line of products include collars, bandannas and bows for the pups and accessories for us owners including poop bag holders, wrist straps and hair accessories. I hope to soon include a full range of coats, jumpers, and harnesses with a special focus on fitting dachshunds.
